Both the formulas are correct....because here all the terms are in product.
Example:- If r=7 , h=10
Then, V=1/3*pi*r^2*h = 1/3*22/7*7^2*10 = 220*7/3 = 220*2.33 = 512.6 cube unit.
If we use other formula.....
Then, V= pi*r^2*h/3 = 22/7*7^2*10/3 = 22*7*3.33 = 512.6 cube unit.
