God is not just an concrete object its a abstract idea as well as a thing of belief.
The one who believes in God fears God but does not fears anyone. This means that an abstract idea gives u confidence. 
Whereas the one who does not believe in God fears  everyone. 

So, god lies in mind and soul not in idols. 
I won't say u to believe or not to believe its our path. We should the one which gives us confidence to live

God is just not a word, it is a belief. It is not a solid thing. It depends whether it exists or not. Lots of people think that god exist and that god is the creator of life, they also belief that whatever happens are due to the things done by the god. But,there are lots of people who don;t believe in god and ask one typical question, "What is the proof?" but the proof lies in the history of humanity and I believe that whoever would find the path to the "proof" then that day gods would physically appear and according to me its a belief which dwells in the "heart" of every human being at some part of his life.

Gods differ according to religions but they are that belief which makes humanity to always try to go forward
