Sir in high energy every molecules will have relase their electron.. ..
But. Hydrogen loose his electron for making h+ but helogens loose their electron in high energy level ..

Yes hydrogen and halogen like methanehave tendency to loose one electron for example when methane reacts with chlorine it looses one hydrogen atom and it becomes methyl chloride and hydrogen reacts with chlorine to form hydrochloric acid
