Abiotic factors are the non-living things of an ecosystem; Biotic factors comprise of the living things of an ecosystem. Examples of the abiotic factors are sunlight, temperature, energy, the wind, water, soil, etc., whereas biotic factors are plants, trees, animals, microorganisms, etc.

the conditions in which you live, work, etc. is called environment.

the part of the earth’s surface and atmosphere in which plants and animals can live is called biosphere

An ecosystem is a large community of living organisms (plants, animals and microbes) in a particular area. The living and physical components are linked together through nutrient cycles and energy flows. Ecosystems are of any size, but usually they are in particular places.

the existence of a number of different kinds of animals and plants which together make a good and healthy environment is called biodiversity.

Global warming is the ongoing rise of the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and has been demonstrated by direct temperature measurements and by measurements of various effects of the warming.

The atmosphere is the layer of gases around the Earth. It is held in place by Earth's gravity. It is made up mainly of nitrogen (78.1%). It also has plentiful oxygen (20.9%) and small amounts of argon (0.9%), carbon dioxide (~ 0.035%), water vapor, and other gases.

Themain interactions between humans and our environment can be grouped into the use of resources and the production of wastes.  Humans are extracting increasing quantities of natural resources from the Earth which is causing problems of over-exploitation, for example through overfishing and deforestation.

  • Grow more trees.
  • say no to plastic.
  • rainwater harvesting
  • save natural resources etc.
