=> 2x/12 + 3y/12 = 12/12
=> x/6 + y/4 =1 , this is the equation of st. line where x and y interceptions are 6 & 4 respectively. So the st line cuts x-axis at (6,0) and y-axis (0,4) , so it is very much clear that the given st.line passes through 1st Quadrant.
