Is the magnetic field created by straight current carrying conductor has polarity of north and south pole if yes where it is located​

Answer:

Yes a straight current carring conductor has both north and south poles.

It depends upon the Current you pass through it

1. If u pass Ac ( alternating current) it changes its direction ie in a fraction of seconds north poles becomes south and south becomes north again

2. coming to DC (Direct current) it won't changes its direction so the poles which are formed by magnetic lines of forces acts as poles.
