Is the magnitude of speed always the same as the magnitude of velocity... yes or no can you please also explain your answer using relevant principles of physics?

speed and velocity are nearly same. the difference you know is direction. speed can tell us the magnitude, like if an object with a certain speed crashes or whatever, but velocity also defines the direction. thus we can say that yes because speed will also tell you the intensity and velocity will also tell you the intensity along with direction.
