Is the meaning of weak acid the same as that of dilute acid?

no dilute acids are those acids which are basically strong acids but their strength is reduced by adding water etc. to prevent accidents r as per need in lab.eg.HNO3,HClO4,and weak acids are really weak they are used directly.they do not dissociates large amount ofH+ ions in the liquid....
