Yes, it is limiting them only to the traditional background.
In the poem, 'The bangle sellers', Sarojini Naidu very beautifully depicts the stages of a woman's life . However, it is limited only to the traditional background. Nowadays, a woman's dream is not only of getting married and leading a family life. Women , now have dreams of studying, writing and becoming a great human being. However, in the poem, the poet says that a woman's life is accomplished once she has loved and cared for her family. Also, the poet says that a woman cradles 'fair sons' on her breast. However, nowadays the birth of a girl has ceased to be cursed. Sarojini Naidu speaks about the India in which she was born and where she had grown up. That India no longer exists, except in a few parts of the country. Thus, we can conclude the poem is limiting the women only to the traditional background.
