No the poet is not happy by his decision. His sigh indicates that he is not happy with his decision of taking the unused road which has made all the differences in his life. Had he chosen the worn out road he feels that things would have been different for him.

"The Road Not Taken" is a poem written by a great poet 'Robert Frost'.

In the poem, the poet is standing at the Cork, from where two roads were diverged.

On that day, both the roads were seeming same. And the poet was completely confused about the selection of road.

He wanted travel on both the roads, but he was knowing that once he will select a road, he cannot return back to go on the second.

So, he took the second road which was less travelled by the people.
