◆ The product of 2 irrational numbers is not always irrational.
◆ If 2 equal irrational numbers are multiplied then the result is a rational number.
Ex : √3 × √3 = 3
√2 × √2 = 2.
● Rational numbers : Numbers that can be expressed in the form of p/q, ( q doesn't equal to 0 ).If p/q is in standard form then their H.C.F should be 1.
Ex : 2,3,5/7,6 etc.
●Irrational numbers : Numbers that are not rational.Numbers that can't be expressed as in p/q.
Ex : √2 , √3 + √5 , √12 etc.
Hope it helps !
