by putting formula

alpha into beta is equal to c/a

put value

c=-64/1

than

alpha into beta is -64

  • equation : x² -6x -64 = 0
  • here : a = 1 , b = -6 , c = -64
  • Sum of Zeros = α+β = -b/a = -(-6)/1 = 6
  • Product of Zeros = αβ = c/a = -64/1 = -64
  • Hence , α+β ≠ αβ
