Is the reaction between CaO and CO2 to form CaCO3 exothermic?​

CaCO3 breaks down into the two compound such as CaO and CO2 .

for the separation of CaCO3 into the CaO and CO2 , we would have to apply heat and energy so when we applied the extra energy to cover up and process of reaction is known as endothermic reaction

As we said that breakdown of CaCO3 into the CO2 and CaO is endothermic reaction
