Is the red blood cell a single working cell? Please explain how it is or isn't.

yes each red blood cell is an indivisual working cell because all the cells may have the same work but each will do its own duty

yes. they are single working cells that has haemoglobin (has more affinity for oxygen) and carry oxygen to various organs and also carries carbon dioxide from various organs and diffuse into alveolar gap.
