Answer: 4

Composite numbers are numbers which has more than 2 factors. For example the factors of 9 are:

3 x 3 = 9

9 x 1 = 9

So the factors are 3, 9 and 1. So it has more than 2 factors, hence it is a composite number

Now the smallest composite number is 4

The numbers which comes before 4 are 1, 2 and 3 but they are prime numbers since they only have 2 factors

Hope this was clear and helpful

It was Great meeting you
