is the style of upbringing of women in India different from that of the Western countries ?why?

Yes it is different from foreign upbringing as in most of the societies even today women are forced to be meek and submissive. They are taught to be gentle and caring and aren't given enough respect. In India, women are dominated by men and cannot do what they wish to. But foreign upbringing is completely different than Indian upbringing as there is freedom for women to do anything and be what they want to.

Yes. Because in foreign countries girls are offered more freedom than in India.....☺☺
