is the sum of two irrational numbers always an irrational? is the product of two irrational numbers always an irrational? justify your answer​

Let two rational no. be √2 and -√2

Sum=√2+(-√2)=0=rational no.

2.product of two rational no.'s √2×√2=4 =rational no.

So u better use the word "sometimes".

Product and sum of irrational no. is sometimes irrational.
