Well, I would not say that they give biased judgments. As judges there function is to give unprejudiced judgments and that too within the law.

So as human beings even they have small prejudices. Research shows that the judgments that judges give are greatly influenced by their own beliefs and life experiences and this is true for judges around the world. Also, this is one of the reasons that you find contradictory opinions on the same issue by different judges.

I would not call that biasness though.
