Is the traditional concept of the state outdated in an age of globalization and internet?

Its too soon to tell that, its the growing age of internet. Even though, the world has progressed and people don't rely on media to express their ideas. But still, the traditional concept has not been just outdated yet. May be in decade or two it will.
