Is the triangle with side 12cm,16cm,18cm a right angle triangle ?give reason

in a right angle triangle square of largest side should be equal to sum of squares of other two sides
18^2=12^2+16^2
324=144+256
324=400
this cannot be possible
so it's not a right angle triangle

No it cannot be a right angled triangle because it violates the basic law of right angled triangle i.e. Hypotenuse^2=base^2+perpendicular^2
(12)^2 + (16)^2 ≠( 18)^2
144+256≠324
