The word God means only Superstition as to create fear in minds of the people, so that each and every person follow their duties. Also, god can be compared with a belief of faith which helps the human in better way.

God is said to be the creater of universe, thus our ancestors have given them they are the supreme power. Many Holy books proves this no one is superior then God. For eg : Quran, Bible, Bhagvad Gita.

Also, there are many deeds given in the holy books, to show the superiority of the gods and to make humans realize to follow the rules of the world on which the universe works.
