yes, there is a difference because work is said to be done only when the applied force happens to make a displacement.

Yes there is a difference between force sand weight.

Weight is the amount of force applied on an object when the gravitational force of gravity is also considered.

Again in case if weight, we do not consider the "g" factor and hence we dont consider gravity.

It is just mass multiplied to acceleration. Hence they are not the same.
