Three types of frictions can be observed between the train and the iron rails.

• Rolling Friction- Rolling friction is when the train is moving on the iron rails.

• Kinetic Friction-When the brakes are applied, the friction present in between trail and iron rails is kinetic friction

• Static Friction-When the train is at rest.
