Yes there is a number which is equal to its cube but not its square
the number is -1
its cube is (-1)³ = [ (-1)(-1)(-1) ] = -1
its square is (-1)² = [ (-1)(-1) ] = +1

Hey there!
First of all check which numbers equal to their cubes
You get 1,-1 as numbers equal to cubes
-1³=-1
1³=1
Now check squares of these numbers
-1²=1≠-1
1²=1
So finally the number which is equal to cube but not square is -1
Hope helped!
