There can be a possibility to fulfill India's maximum energy requirement through renewable resources as they are unlimited and safe for the environment. But it has many side-effects too:
- It is very expensive. For example, it is difficult to set up solar panels as they are made from silicon (expensive element), using hydroelectricity can be expensive as constructing dams is difficult and costly.
- More space is required. For example, setting up windmills require a massive plot of land. And India is a country with a large number of population.
