Hello Mate,

Here is the theorem, (as per the given above triangle)

If ACD is a triangle, and BE joins the midpoint of AC and AD respectively, then BE is parallel to CD (base of triangle) and EA = ED and BA = BC.

To Prove ED/EA = BC/BA,

We Know that,

EA = ED,

EA/ED = 1 ---(1)

And,

BA = BC,

BA/BC = 1 ---(2)

Eq. (1) = Eq. (2)

So, EA/ED = BA/BC
