no the people in India are not aware of it.mainly the people of villages. they don't even know how to manage these problems. we should create awareness about it .

Yes ,there is and people are advised not to build their homestead near the sea beaches and those enjoying themselves around the beach to take alot of care because tsunami can occur any time.
Similarly those living in earthquake prone areas are also being advised to leave the area because it a zone of dangour since earthquake can occure any time.
