Is there any better mechanism for correcting errors than hamming code, if have please mention and explain how it is better with suitable example?

No, hamming code is the better mechanism for correcting errors.

Explanation:

There are several error correcting codes like parity check but there is no better error correcting code than Hammer.

Hammer have the power to detect nearly to two-bit errors and also can correct one-bit errors even it don't detect uncorrected errors.

However parity codes can only detect the odd number of bits and also cannot able to correct the errors of their own.

The class of binary linear codes forms hamming codes. It is processed by encoding the real text with a series of bits, which is in position of the powers of two. Hence Hamming codes are most reliable than other codes.
