When substance change it's state there will be no change in mass... If you charge 100 grams water (liquid) to ice (solid) the mass of the ice will be same that is 100 grams.

If we change 100 GMs if wayer into ice ,the mass of ice will remain the same i,e100s
This shows the there is no change in the mass even if a substance changes in state
