is there any change in mass when a substance changes its state? explain with example

no there is no changes in mass when a substance change it state because after changing state it's quantity is not decreases or increase so there is no changes in mass
ex:- water change in gaseous state

No there is no change in mass because only the gap between particles have changed and nothing other than that, but sometimes volume also changes but this doesn't affect its mass

Eg- if u take 100ml of water and freeze it than its mass will be same, if there is a slight increase in its mass than it is due to the air particles trapped in the cave like structure of ice.
