Is there any charge on an n-type semicoductor ? If yes what is it ?

n type semiconductor in neutral, there is no net charge on any type of semiconductor.

Short answer - it is electrically neutral.


Eleborated answer : Since all the intrinsic semiconductors are electrically neutral and doping atoms we are adding are also electrically neutral therefore resulting extrinsic semiconductor (either N or P type) must be neutral too.
