if you have that 'difference' word in both then it makes no difference otherwise 

Electric potential energy results from forces between charges; potential difference is the energy needed to move a charge from point A to B.

potential energy difference is the difference in the potential energies obtained by a body while moving along vertical.....whereas potential difference is the difference of electric potential between two points
