In India only the constitution has articles. Legislation has sections and provisions or provisos. ... Without the assent of the Upper House and President, no section can become a part of the law.

In India only the constitution has articles. Legislation has sections and provisions or provisos. These sections and articles are clubbed under chapters such that the first in laws defines the terms to be used through out that text. ... No section can be inserted unless the constitution provides for it.
