Is there any difference between "what is electric current" AND "expression for electric current

Yes , Of course there is a diff. between these two terms .

The first one means the defination of current .

And the second one means the derivation of current or formula of electric current we can say .

Electric
current is defined as the rate of flow of electric charge through any cross-section of a conductor . i.e.,

I = q/t

I= current
q= net charge
t= time
