Yes there are a few disadvantages

In modern periodic table position 9f hydrogen is still not decided in some it is shown with alkali metals while in some with halogens or at centre

No specific place is given to lanthanoids and actinoids in modern periodic table

the main defect of this table are the position of hydrogen is not settled it resembles with alkali metal as well as halogens. However it has been placed with alkali metals
