yes
if we change temperature and pressure state of element is also changed

agnideep: Please give a brief answer
shivrangni: we take an example
shivrangni: the gas fill in gas cylinders is in the form of a liquid it's come to in liquid because of very high temperatures and pressure
shivrangni: so it change it state to gas to liquid

komy12: we need to give brief explanation
shivrangni: I hope these example will help you

yes there is a effect
a) effect of change in temperature
the temperature effect on heating is solid varies depending on the nature of the solid and the conditions required in bringing the change.
on increasing the temperature of Solids the kinetic energy of the particles increases. which overcomes the force of attraction between the particles there by solid melts and is converted to liquid.
the temperature at which a solid melts to become a liquid at atmospheric pressure is called its melting point.
the melting point of ice is to 273. 16k .
the process of melting that is change of solid state into liquid state is also known as fusion.
b) effect of change of pressure.
increasing or decreasing the pressure can change the state of matter applying pressure and reducing temperature can liquefy gas.

thus, we can say that pressure and temperature determine the state of a substance whether it be solid, liquid or gas.
