Is there any formula to find prime numbers?

actually their is no formula to find whether a number is prime or not but their is a method .suppose if I have to find whether 111 is a prime or not I will take the nearest square number that 121(11*2) I could take 100(10*2) but it is less than 111 so always consider big value and nearest .now check whether the 111 is divisible by prime numbers 1to11(2,3,5,
7,11) if it is then it is not prime number so here 111 is not a prime since it is divisible by 3 and 3 is a prime number
