Is there any general formula for aromatic hydrocarbons( like Cn H2n .... etc..) ??

If yes, please give the formula !

And give an eg: also .

(Cn H2n-6)......just put n=1 and u will get the first member of aromatic series which is benzene....
NimraAtta: But benzene's formula is C6H6
Abhi213101: ohh...sorry...i forgot that....aroma series starts with 6 so....you can't take 1to5 in this formula exactly like we can't take 1 in Cn H2n and Cn H2n-2
Abhi213101: and afer that if you will take n=7 it will be C7 H8 which is toluene the second member of aroma series
