Is there any involvement of brain in reflex action or they are only controlled by spinal cord?

These are primarily controlled by the spinal chord but the information after the action is performed reaches the brain.

For eg: when we touch a hot object we reflexly withdraw our hand but after a second or two actually realise the fact that the object we have touched is hot.

So, the brain has some role in this.
