Is there any loss for the mall when they give buy one get one free offer? Why?

Because it sells off season brand which stock has finished usually

Explanation: this is because of the fact that the mall increases the price of one , and more peaple buy the product so they have a profit from there as ,  mall buys  a bulk of goods and products  from different places so they get it for cheap rates , this is the reason they get huge profits and if the good are not bought on time they may expire and then they have to remove it from the mall , hence they regularly keep sales and offers to attract more peaple to avoid loss
