Is there any natuaral number which has no successor? Give reason?

Answer:

No there is no natural number which has no predecessor.

This is because, every number has it's predecessor.

Numbers are infinite. They never get finished.

Hence every number has successor.

But 1 is the only number which has no predecessor.

As natural number starts from 1 to infinity, 1 has no predecessor and except 1 every number have predecessor and successor.

Successor is the no. which comes after the original no.

(for example - successor of 1 is 2, successor of 55 is 56.)

Natural numbers are all positive no.s from 1 to infinity.

There is no last number, it is always increasing and that's why we say infinity.

We don't have any idea of what is last number in maths.

If no.s are always increasing, then it is certain that there is no natural no. which don't have any successor.
