An action verb with a direct object is transitivewhile an action verb with no direct object isintransitive. Some verbs, such as arrive, go, lie, sneeze, sit, and die, are always intransitive; it is impossible for a direct object to follow.

HEY mate !! HERE is your answer !!
________________________________________________________________________________
TRANSITIVE VERB is defined as the verb which is followed by an object .
e.g., I have taken my food.
here in this case/sentence after verb(have taken) there is object(food).
INTRANSITIVE VERB is defined as the verb which is not followed by any object.
e.g., I CAN FLY.
Here the verbs are ( can fly) but the sentence does not have any object. Hence it is intransitive.
