Is there any possibility that if a student failed in CBSE madhyamik over all then what will happen ?will he has to repeat class 10 again???

as far I know , if a candidate or student failed in cbse examinations . the student gets one
oppurtunity for improvement to recover his / her board examination. by another exam known as retest. if he/ she is passed in this retest , then the school promotes the student in std XI . but, if we failed to cross this test then , he/ she has to continue further 1 year.

My opinion , is that he gets further chance to recover his examinations.but the student passes due to school give compartment .
