When water is evaporated from the plant leaves (ie transpiration) the water vapour condenses in the sky and forms clouds which precipitate in the form of rain .

There is an indirect relationship between rainfall and transpiration.
With the increase in rainfall, there would be an increase in the humidity. This increase in humidity would reduce the water holding capacity of air. Hence rate of transpiration will reduce as the air is already saturated with a large amount of moisture.
