where

R is Radius of curvature

and

f is focal length

This implies that the radius of curvature is twice to that of the focal length.

Focal length is equal to half of radius of curvature. The focal length (f) of a lens is the distance between the center of the lens and the point at which the reflected light, of a beam of light traveling parallel to the center line, meets the center line (principal axis)
