Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is something that I go for (went for)

Splitting middle term:

Sum = xxxx

Product = xxxx

Factorise the 'product' in such a way that u can easily find 2 numbers which when added gives you the required sum.

Eg:

x^2 + 20x + 64

sum = 20

product = 64

Now,

64 = 8 * 8  [this can be easily visualised in mind]

     = 2*4 * 8 = 16 * 4

16*4 = 64  && 16+4 = 20

You might find it difficult or awkward initially, but by practice you can do this by visualizing in mind. Practice makes you perfect

Kindly ignore this answer if you had known it (this method)already.

If I need to be more specific, kindly say.
