Is there any way to separate salt from sand with dissolving it in water?

Yes.
first we should dissolve it in water. salt will be mixed as it soluble in water. Sand won't as it insoluble. now, we can filter it. The sand is now at one side and the salt solution is at other side. We can now heat the solution so that water changes into its gaseous state and salt will be left over.
now we have separated both of them
