no there is no kind of error
because the effective resistance is less in parallel but the voltage remains constant. To make the voltage constant we use parallel type of circuit. There is given that Resistance is inversely proportional to the cross section area. therefore the resistance decreases

no It is correct answer because the equivalent resistance in parallel combination is very Less because of sum of resistors is reciprocal
