hey mate....

your diagram is wrong....

there should be 6 electrons in the outermost orbit of the oxygen atom but you have drawn 8....

please refer to the attachment for the correct diagram.

kind2004: hydrogens=2 electrons and oxygen=8. so why does the diagram have 8 electrons in total instead of 10?
