Is this pairs of linear equations consistent/inconsistent?
(i) x + y = 5, 2x + 2y = 10

(i)Given, x + y = 5 and 2x + 2y = 10

(a1/a2) = 1/2

(b1/b2) = 1/2

(c1/c2) = 1/2

Since (a1/a2) = (b1/b2) = (c1/c2)

∴The equations are coincident and they have infinite number of possible solutions.
